Munich, 11th February, 2009: Azlan,
Europe's leading distributor of enterprise networking, server, storage
and enterprise software solutions, has announced the availability of a
new Virtual Service Model for partners. This has been launched in
response to growing demand from customers who need to provide high
levels of in-country service with all the advantages of having a
centrally managed account.
Under the IBT's Virtual Service Model,
partners will be able to place orders and shipment instructions with
Azlan's central management team, which will subsequently
carry out deliveries meeting all the necessary export and import
requirements. All paperwork and invoicing can still be fulfilled in
country, thus enabling partners to provide a local service to their
customers while benefiting from all the advantages of the centralised
model.
Commenting on the new service, Jan Van
Springel, Director Enterprise International Accounts, Azlan
EMEA, says: "The new Virtual Service Model meets the needs of our
partners in what is an increasingly competitive and fast-moving market.
It provides a unique level of rapid and highly responsive service and
flexibility that enables partners to meet the specific needs of their
customers in a very precise and efficient way whilst keeping complexity
and costs down".
The Azlan International
Business Team provides partners with a unique value-added service that
enables them to address opportunities across international markets,
swiftly and with minimal costs. The team provides expert knowledge of
import and export regulations and manages transactions and shipments on
behalf of partners, providing tailored invoicing, delivery advice and
management information as required.
Azlan can tailor
services to meet the specific requirements of the partner and is able
to work to stringent service levels to ensure the highest levels of
service provision are delivered to reseller customers. It provides a
single, centralised point of contact and account management and
delivery. Alternatively, orders and shipments can be managed locally by
Azlan's in-country virtual IBT member.
